Lilyana Doyle felt that she was different from a young age, discovering the innate ability to capture the world in layers of colour, texture, and objects. It was never an option to share her emotions, it was a necessity. Imagine seeing everything through an additional sense, and translating that to a canvas.
OOAK Productions is always on the lookout for storytelling opportunities with people that are pushing creative boundaries. We sat down with Lilyana to discuss what drives her passion and how she turns that passion into emotional experiences for the viewer. What we found is a strong woman very much in control of her artistic vision.
Powerful content starts with unique subject matter. Lilyana never disappoints with her wide range of mediums, moods, and presentations. For this production we used 4 different pieces of music throughout to highlight the phases of Lilyana’s story. The music allows the viewer to move through the story at the pace we would like it to be experienced. These extra touches are what elevates an interview to something worthy of a short story or mini-doc.
