Creating content can be a pressure filled endeavour in some situations. Capturing moments that can’t be missed. Ensuring pristine audio, sharp focus, great lighting, intentional camera movements. Making memorable films that portray the essence of the client and elevate a unique brand. How do we do it? We practice.
One of our favourite ways to hone our craft is to practice our skills with fun, fast paced scenarios for clients that are in it for the same reason; Pure fun. Thats how we ended up making this promo for Michel P. Clive, a chef and entertainer from Toronto, Canada.
OOAK Productions is a One of a Kind video production company, and Mike (as you will see) is a one of a kind personality. Chef’s Kiss!
Mike knew the brief: He needed some fresh content for his social media channels, and we needed a day of testing out some new gear. So, we shook on it. Let’s make FUN the theme of this project, and take our time. Besides, who doesn’t like a day at the beach and a great meal afterward?
Projects like this prepare us to walk into more challenging and higher pressure situations, and bang out content with a smile. (see below)
Mike has a warm and infections way of sharing his passion. He works hard, plays hard, is an expert at his craft, and he loves to learn what makes others unique. He is one of a kind. So, you could say we are like Mike too. Perhaps that will be our new motto.
‘Be like Mike’. (Wait, thats already taken?)
